More than two million premises in selected areas currently on FTTN or FTTC may be eligible for a free fibre upgrade if you commit to subscribing to a high speed plan for a minimum term of 12 months.
- FTTN locations: Minimum speed of 100/20 or above
- FTTC locations: Minimum speed of 250/25 or above
Early termination fees apply if you downgrade the speed below the minimums above or cancel the service in the first 12 months.
Additional work will be required to install the new FTTP equipment inside and outside your premises. This will require one or more visits from an nbn™ technician, which we can book for you.
A new FTTP service will be connected in parallel to the legacy technology service and when ready, you simply connect to the new nbn™ device and we cancel the old service. If your old service is with another provider, you will need to contact them to cancel the service.
